Re-optimising a route mid-day
Recalculate remaining stops after a breakdown, a no-show or a rush order — without losing completed work.
Laatst bijgewerkt · Routes & dispatch
Re-optimising rebuilds the remaining part of a live route without touching what’s already done. Use it after a breakdown, a no-show, or when a rush order lands mid-day.
What is kept, what moves
Completed and failed stops are frozen — they never move or lose their proof.
The stop a driver is currently navigating to stays theirs.
Locked stops stay on their pinned driver.
Everything else may be re-sequenced or moved between the routes you select.
Running it
Open the live plan and select the affected routes — you can re-optimise one route or the whole depot.
Add any new orders or mark a vehicle unavailable.
Review the diff screen: moved stops are highlighted with their old and new ETA.
Publish. Drivers get the updated sequence as their next stop completes, not mid-navigation.
Let opRe-optimising the whole depot during peak can shift dozens of promised ETAs at once. Prefer per-route runs unless a vehicle is fully out.
Goed om te wetenCustomers with notification rules keyed to ETA changes are re-notified automatically after you publish.
