Setting up your first depot
Create a depot, set its operating hours and loading capacity, and attach vehicles.
Last updated · Getting started
A depot is the physical origin every route starts from: it carries an address, operating hours, loading capacity and a vehicle pool. You need at least one before you can plan anything.
Create the depot
Go to Settings → Depots → New depot.
Enter the address and confirm the geocoded pin — drag it to the actual gate if it lands on the building centre.
Set operating hours; the optimiser will not schedule departures or returns outside them.
Set loading capacity (parcels or roll cages per wave) so waves are sized realistically.
NoteThe map pin, not the postal address, is what routing uses. A pin at the wrong gate adds real minutes to every route that leaves it.
Attach vehicles
Vehicles belong to exactly one depot. Add them under the depot’s Vehicles tab with their capacity and, if relevant, emission class — zone restrictions in city centres are enforced per vehicle.
Good to knowYou can move a vehicle between depots at any time; it takes effect from the next published plan.
